In ‘2009 a regular general meeting of the Korean Academy of Science and Technology held at Hotel Lotte on Nov. 20th, Friday, Prof. Seong-Whan Lee (48) was appointed as fellow of the Korean Academy of Science and Technology (KAST).
He’s currently adjunct professor for Hyundai-Kia Chair professor. He was acknowledged his achievement in Information and Network and Pattern Recognition with 105 publications in SCI journals and over 3,500 citations.

Founded in 1994, KAST is comprised with 476 leading experts in science fields. Through MOUs between 33 countries including America, France and England, KAST cooperates with other overseas organizations.
KAST elects annually after screening scientists with best academic achievements however, its fellows can be beyond 500 people.
