뇌공학과 연구 전용 고성능 3T fMRI 장비 구입 결정

뇌공학 연구에 필수적인 고성능 3T fMRI(기능성 자기공명 영상) 장비가 고려대학교와
교육과학기술부 간의 WCU(세계 수준 연구 중심대학) 사업 계약에 따라 뇌공학과 연구 
전용 장비로 구입이 결정되어 금년 12월 말까지 뇌공학과에 설치될 예정이다. 
본 fMRI 장비의 구매 결정은 뇌공학 분야 투자에 대한 고려대학교의 의지를 보여준 
것으로 고려대학교가 구입 예산 35억원을 전액 지원한다.

이로서 고려대학교 뇌공학과는 학과 신설과 함께 첨단 뇌공학 연구를 위한 전용 
연구 장비를 자체 확보함으로써, 석박사 과정 대학원생들과 학과 소속 교수들이 뇌공학 
분야의 세계적 수준의 연구를 수행할 수 있는 발판을 마련하게 되었다.
