How to get to the venue from Incheon international airport

The Incheon International Airport (IIA), in the city of Incheon, is the biggest and main international airport in Korea. It is an about 60-minute car ride to Korea University. It costs you about U$40 for regular taxi and U$60 for deluxe taxi. For more information on transportation from the airport to downtown Seoul, please visit the IIA web site. All fares are payable KRW only.

Taxi fares from Incheon International Airport to Korea University are quite expensive. Since Seoul subways are not directly connected to the Incheon Airport, we recommend taking the limousine bus from the airport and transferring to a taxi at a bus stop near the university.

Please refer to the following list of possible transportation routes to Korea University

1. By Limousine bus from the Airport

For Dobong and Gangbook bound buses, you can catch them at the 3B10A Bus Stops at Inchon Airport Entrance. The bus fare is 14,000 won. Buses operate at 20 ~ 40 minute intervals from 6AM till 10PM. Get off at the Korea University stop. It takes approximately 1 ~ 2 hours depending on traffic. If you have any questions call the Korea City Air Terminal at 02-551-0790. Get off at the Korea University stop and take a taxi to Hana Square in Korea University Science Campus. It will take more than 20 minute by walk, so we recommend you to take a taxi. The taxi fare is around KRW 2,400.

2. By Taxi from the Airport

From the airport, it costs approximately KRW 50,000 ~ 60,000 by taxi up to 4 people to Korea University. Toll fee (KRW 7,100) will be the passenger’s responsibility. The fare of regular taxi starts from KRW 2,400, while deluxe taxis start from KRW 4,500. Most taxi drivers know the direction to Korea University Science Campus.

3. By Railroad

In order to take the subway from the airport to Korea University, you may first take the AREX (Airport Railroad Express) and transfer to the subway line #6 in Digital Media City Station. The nearest subway station to the Korea University Science Campus is Anam Station (Line #6). Exit through #4 stairs and walk about 100m to an entrance gate (across Korea University medical center, KUMC). From the airport, it costs approximately KRW 3,900 per person to Anam Station (Line #6). The fare is relatively cheaper, however this transportation option is potentially inconvenience since it would take about 10 minute from the airport to railroad station by walk and 90 minute from the airport to Korea University. Please refer to the following subway map.
